Sunbonnet Susie

I made this for my step mother Susie to keep her cozy while shewent though an ordeal. this was fun to make.

Jewel box bright


This is the jewel box pattern, I love it. It is currently being used as a curtain in my girls room they broke their blinds. Buttons for accent

Le Avion



My frist quilt, hand quilted around the plains, clouds & stars. For my son on his 8th birthday. He is now 18 and heading off to collage soon.

Sarai's horses


Sarai my oldest daughter has always
loved horses. I made this for her 8th birthday.
It's hand quilted around horses on a large pannel.
Made about 2001 my second quilt made.

Christmas treasures

I started this 5 years ago, and it's not done yet. the work is so intricate and takes a long time I get tired of doing it after awhile. The ribbons throughout are silk and the corner scrollwork is being quilted.

Bon Jovi Songs


2007 each block is different and represents different songs from the band. My dream is to give it to the band and have them auction it off for habitat for Humanity. I sent pictures to Oprah but haven't heard anything. Oh well.

Cow Butts

Award winning quilt from July 2005 Puyallop fair.
black swede tail are loose, some have utters. Three large horse flies buzz around. I got the green ribbon for hand quilted/pieced division.

Dancing Divas

Oct 2004 made the from a pattern from a design I saw at the sewing expo in Puyallup. A gift for Miss Debbie my girls dance teacher.

spring picnic



2004 donated to the Vancouver Library Foundation to raise money for the foundation. It was auctioned and went for $60.00. machine appliqued.


I made this for Gillian's 8th birthday I got the pattern from a magazine for a pillow. July 2003

Flower Garden Kids


This is appliqued with the machine. It was one of my favorite to do. I gave it to a friend who loved the work I was doing one evening when he saw me quilting. 2004

Brick wall and music



All the names of the Hough Youth Choir were sewn all over the brick wall. It is quilted with an Ivy motif. This was given to the choir director when she left her job.

Flower Garden in blue



My youngest girl claimed this for her own. I learned to hide the knots. This was actully started by my sister and I finished it and did all the quilting I liked this one.
