We tried to go up to Tacoma yesterday and had to turn around and come home. The freeway was just too hard to drive on. In the hour we were attemping to go up we saw at least four cars on the side of the road and two stopped to put on chains and one accident. So we turned around and headed home to Vancouver. At one point a big rig drove by us and our front windshield was completely covered with mud this is the aftermath.

I have heard about your bad weather from my daughter in Seattle. We had an ice storm a few days ago, but guess we are more used to it here in Iowa!
